L’oreal Beauty Haul!

Hello, friends!

DIY Hair Treatment

Hello, I hope you are all having a nice weekend. It’s raining in Auckland which means I am snuggled up in my bed with a cup of tea (thanks for the Lemon tea, Krystal. It’s delicious).

Konjac Sponge Review

Hi beauties!
Hope you are all having an ah-maazing day.
After hearing so many good things about Konjac Sponges, I went out and purchased one (RRP $6.99) and have been using it for the last 3 weeks.

That JLo Glow

 Hello Friends!
I hope you are all having an amazing weekend.
This month I have loved wearing a simple, glowy look. Mac’s Strobe cream as a base is simply stunning! I have been using it as a primer, mixed in with my foundation or as a cream highlighter. It’s so versatile and you only need the smallest amount for a big payoff. I am obsessed.

My Makeup Bag

Hello, friends!
Being makeup obsessed can make it hard to pick my absolute favourite products to carry around every day. Luckily, I was gifted the most beautiful L’Occitane makeup bag for my birthday so ‘downsizing’ has been a lot easier this month!
Check out my daily ‘must-haves’ below.

What I'm reading

One of my most favourite things to do is read. Ever since I was little I have always loved to curl up with a good book.
This month I am reading; Blogosphere Magazine, The Good Luck Girl and Sisterhood Everlasting. What are you reading?

Birthday treats and reflections

Hello, friends!
I’m sorry it’s been a little while. Life has been crazy busy this month.
As you know, my birthday was last week. It wasn’t what I was expecting, but it does feel good to be 26.
I was fortunate enough to spend my birthday morning with two of my favourite people; my mum and my nana. My nana has one of the most beautiful souls so it was special to be able to spend some time with her. I was also spoilt by one of my best friends. Not only did she show up to my house with the most delicious cakes, she decked my room out with balloons and she bought me some seriously cute presents!
Since by birthday I have been reflecting on my 26 years and I thought you might find it interesting if I shared some key reflections here. I would also LOVE to hear any you have to share. Comment below or head over to Facebook (Facebook.com/ReigningBeautyxx).

Peanut Butter Smoothie!

I have briefly talked about this before, but, peanut butter smoothies have been my breakfast go-to this month. They are so easy to make and keep me full for hours.
Simply add one banana, almond milk, one teaspoon of peanut butter and a handful of dates to a blender and there you have it! Delicious!

Seven Makeup Favourites

Hi loves,
If you could only use seven products for the rest of your life, what would they be?

My Bucket List

Party Makeup

For this look, I used a mix of BH cosmetics and Colour Pop to create the soft pink gold. Loved this!

My Lipstick Collection

I have a problem.
I am addicted to lipstick.

Products I am loving

Take me to NYC where there is snow and wind and ICE! I hate summer. Don’t get me wrong, I love days outside with friends exploring beautiful beaches. I just hate the heat and I hate that I turn into a melting snowman.

Wherever you are in the world today - I am sending you lots of love and cuddles. Be kind to each other. xxx

All about the eyes

Hi guys,
Isn’t this the most beautiful thing you have ever seen!??
This ZOEVA palette sat in my shopping chart for three months before I bought it…. why did it take me so long. Honestly, this is what dreams are made of.

Travel Essentials

Hello, friends!
This year, my bucket list is full of travel. I literally want to go everywhere! I want to travel more around my beautiful country as well as around the world.
Travel can be exhausting and daunting - especially when you’re not at home with all your favourite things. It’s always a good idea to pack light, so I have only included my absolute must-haves. Check them out below:

Hair: Bumble & Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil

Having naturally curly hair my hair is always dry and it’s been a lifelong struggle trying to find a product that hydrates my hair without leaving behind a gross oily feeling.
The Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil is my ultimate holy grail.
I apply a coin-size amount into my hands to warm up the oil and then apply to damp hair, focusing just on the ends.
It’s lightweight, quick-absorbing and a clear oil that will work for all hair types. I have noticed such a difference since using this product. My hair is softer, I don’t have as many flyaways and my hair looks SO shiny!!

Products I can't live without

Hi lovelies,
Hope you are all having a wonderful week.
Today I thought I'd talk about my absolute favourite products. The ones I can’t live without and that I take absolutely everywhere with me.
1. Nars Sheer Glow (Mont Blanc): This is my holy grail foundation. I love it so much. It matches my skin perfectly, doesn’t accentuate my pores or redness. It glides on smoothly and lasts for about 7 hours without touch-ups. I apply this using a beauty blender or a brush and it looks perfect both ways. RRP $72 from Mecca Cosmetica
