Books I'm Reading

Hello beauties,
I love reading a good book in Winter. There is nothing better than curling up for the night with a fluffy blanket, a cup of tea and a good book.
I'm reading a few books at the moment, and I have been enjoying all of them.

Me Before You by Jojo Moyes:
"Lou Clark knows lots of things. She knows how many footsteps there are between the bus stop and home. She knows she likes working in The Buttered Bun tea shop and she knows she might not love her boyfriend Patrick.
What Lou doesn't know is she's about to lose her job or that knowing what's coming is what keeps her sane.
Will Traynor knows his motorcycle accident took away his desire to live. He knows everything feels very small and rather joyless now and he knows exactly how he's going to put a stop to that.
What Will doesn't know is that Lou is about to burst into his world in a riot of colour. And neither of them knows they're going to change the other for all time."
When her loving family hustles her back home and checks her into Ireland's answer to the Betty Ford Clinic, Rachel is hopeful. Perhaps it will be lovely—spa treatments, celebrities, that kind of thing. Instead, she finds a lot of group therapy, which leads her, against her will, to some important self-knowledge. She will also find something that all women like herself fear: a man who might actually be good for her."

This is the third time I have read this book. It is one of my most favourite books. It is a beautiful story on the meaning of life and how things can change in an instant. This is a real tear-jerker, though - you have been warned!

Rachel's Holiday by Marian Keyes:
"The fast lane is much too slow for Rachel Walsh. And Manhattan is the perfect place for a young Irish female to overdo everything. But Rachel's love of a good time is about to land her in the emergency room. It will also cost her a job and the boyfriend she adores.
I LOVED this book so much. It's an easy read and laugh-out-loud funny. Rachel is such a wonderful herione. If you're after an easy read make sure you check this out.

The Apartment by Danielle Steel:
"Four young women’s lives intersect in the apartment they’ve shared in Hell’s Kitchen: Claire, a shoe designer; Abby, an aspiring novelist; Morgan, a successful financial consultant; and Sasha, a resident in obstetrics. As different as they are from one another, the women had become a family by choice. But while their lives had proceeded smoothly in the years they’d lived together, new relationships, job opportunities, and surprising circumstances will test the strength of their bond in and outside the loft that had become their home.
I love Danielle Steel. Her books are always so easy to read. This one was very slow to start but I really enjoyed it. If you're looking for a light book to read on a Sunday afternoon, this one is for you.

What are you reading at the moment?
