Halloween Makeup



Hello Beauties,
I hope you are all having an amazing weekend!
It's been a couple of weeks since I posted. Work has been busy and I decided to give myself a bit of downtown to recover. Let's get started....

I love Halloween (I'm not sure why considering I HATE scary movies). I love experimenting with makeup to see what looks I can come up with, however, I've heard from friends who hate Halloween because they never know what to dress up as! I thought I'd uploaded this REALLY simple looks to give you all a little inspiration.

What I used:


 * I found this cute mask at Topshop for RRP $20. I have also seen some at $2 stores and at The Warehouse. I love masks because you can play with your hair and makeup but still wear a nice dress which is always ideal when you are going out!
* Once I put on my usual foundation and concealer, I used my Chi Chi Golden eyeshadow palette for my whole eye look, using the orange and brown shimmer shades all over the lid and then put a tiny bit of the black colour in the outer corners to create a soft smokey eye. I love this palette as it's so easy to blend.
* I then went over my lid with eyeliner, making sure to stay as close to the lashline as possible. Then I put on about six coats of mascara... you can use false lashes if you want, I just hate the feel of them after a couple of hours!
* I used my ColourPop Highlight in Lunch Money to create a soft glow on my cheekbones and cupids bow. I then contoured as per usual.
* For the lips, I used my favourite red - MAC Ruby woo all over my lips and then as it was still drying I put some of my MAC face glitter all over my lips using a flat pencil brush, making sure to pat it in softly.
That's it! It's so easy to create, you can literally do it in 30mins. Good Luck!
