Things I'm loving

Hello, beauties!

I hope you have all had an amazing week. Can you believe it's less than four weeks until Christmas? I'm counting down to my sleep-ins. I can't wait.

I haven't done a monthly favourites in a while because there are always too many things to choose from! So, I thought I'd share a selection of things I have been loving over the last couple of weeks. I hope you enjoy! Please let me know what you've been loving in the comments, you know I always love an excuse to try out new products!

Colourpop Metallic eyeshadows are my jam. I wear them every single day. Either all over the lid, just in the crease or as a base. They blend so beautifully, last on the eye all day and can transform any look. My favourite is LaLa (pictured). It's rose gold and looks so lovely on the eye. RRP US$5.00.

You can't go wrong with a MAC lipstick. I love matte lipsticks because they last on the lip for hours (even after downing a cup of coffee). The colour doesn't transfer and you can add layers throughout the day without it clumping together. I've been wearing 'Rebel' paired with a cat eye and 'Creme Cup' for a beautiful neutral look (this is a stunning 'wedding' colour. My sister and I both wore this when we were bridesmaids and it photographed beautifully). RRP US $17.00.

Another MAC product I have been loving recently is the powder blush in 'Life's a Picnic'. Described as a 'hot reddish pink', it's a bold, bright medium coral-pink with very subtle undertones and a satin finish. It blends sooooo nicely on the skin and you can build the colour up - if you go in with a light hand. I recommend using a soft fluffy brush to ensure you can apply evenly. The thing I love most about this product is, no matter how tired you look/feel, in one stroke you like alive and radiant. RRP US$22.

I've talked about this highlight many times, but I friggen love it. MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Faintly Fabulous is is a mix of buttery yellow, peachy beige, muted medium orange, and light-medium warm pink. Together, they come together and create a muted, light-medium peachy-orange with warm, yellowy undertones and a frosted sheen. As you can probably tell, I only use the 'pinky' side as I'm obsessed with the colour combination on my skin. I use it as a highlight all over the face, eyebrow highlight and eyeshadow. RRP US $32.

Last but not least, I have been raving about #GIRLBOSS to anyone that will listen. Please go out and buy this. I can honestly, without a doubt say, this book has changed my life. Sophia Amoruso talks candidly about how she built her Nasty Gal empire while also inspiring readers how to channel their passion and hard work. Most importantly, she teaches us how our voices should be heard. As she writes, "I have three pieces of advice I want you to remember: Don’t ever grow up. Don’t become a bore. Don’t let The Man get to you. OK? Cool. Then let’s do this.”

xxx Hayley
