December Haul

Hi, beauties!
How are you all?
Not long until Christmas holidays... are you counting down the days or is that just me?
Yesterday I spent the day at the mall (big mistake) and it was mental. There were people everywhere, babies crying and changing room lines that actually went out the door. What is it about Christmas that makes everyone go insane? I finished my Christmas shopping a month ago so there was no 'real' need for me to be at the mall, except... I wanted to shop.
Since I've picked up a few things this month already (I know, I know), I thought I'd share them with you today.

Talking As Fast As I Can - Lauren Graham: You guys know how much I adore Lauren Graham so I was so excited when I found out she was writing a book. Lauren shares essays on her life as a struggling actress, her love life and her time on Gilmore Girls and Parenthood. I actually pre-ordered this online but because it's been so popular I didn't receive it until a week after it was published! I haven't started reading it yet as I'm finishing Anna Kendrick's book atm (OMG it's SO GOOD). Stay tuned for a full review.

The Balm - Mary-Lou Manizer Highlighter: Incase you missed the memo - Life Pharmacy now stock The Balm! (Thank you makeup gods!). I have been wanting to try the Mary-Lou highlight for about three years but I heard so many horror stories of it breaking in the post I never bought it. Now I realise what I have been missing. It's so creamy and beautiful and I just want to rub it all over my face. It has a honey-like hue that looks stunning on my skin-tone. (pale girls - please go and buy thing right now!). It catches the light beautifully and I feel like JLo when I wear it.

Smashbox Studio Skin 24 Hour Waterproof Concealer (Fair): Another product I have heard amazing things about online. I was not disappointed. This baby blends so beautifully, doesn't crease and lasts all day on the skin. What I love about Smashbox is that there is a wide range of colours available and all their products are tested so they look the same in any light (no orange face outside)!

Lush Sugar Plum Fairy Lip Scrub: I often struggle with dry lips - especially in Summer. I'm obsessed with Lush's range of lip scrubs.  You simply rub all over your lips, rub together and then lick the product away. Their new flavour 'sugar plum fairy' is amaaaazing. It tastes as if you're eating blackcurrants - it's so good.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick (Wild Orchid): If you're after an affordable lipstick, I really recommend Revlon. Creamy and easy to apply, they have a great range of colours that don't transfer from the lips. My favourite in summer is 'wild orchid'. I love wearing with black liner and MAC Soft & Gentle highlight. Beautiful!

Have you tried any of these products? I'd love to hear what you think.
xxx Hayley
