Book Mail!

Hi beauties,
I hope you are all having an amazing weekend. The weather in Auckland has been crazy so I've been tucked up inside watching Netflix and reading. Life has been hectic recently so it's been nice to have some downtime. How are you spending your weekend?

I've been very lucky and have been sent some amazing books recently. Thanks so much to HarperCollins and Hachette - this means I can keep you updated on new books out and do more book reviews!

On my desk this week is Lyrebird by Cecelia Ahern, Carve the Mark by Veronica Roth and Get your sh*t together by Sarah Knight. Check out below for a brief summary on all three books and stay tuned for full reviews coming your way very soon.

Lyrebird by Cecelia Ahern: In the south-west of Ireland, deep in the woods, a young woman lives alone, forever secluded from the world. She possesses an extraordinary talent, the likes of which no-one has seen before: a gift that will earn her the nickname Lyrebird. One day Laura is pulled from her peaceful world to Dublin and is confronted by a world desperate to understand her.

I loved Cecelia Ahern's P.S I Love You so I'm really looking forward to reading this. RRP $34.99. Available now at  PaperPlus, The Warehouse, Whitcoulls and all other good book stores.

Carve the Mark by Veronica Roth: On a planet where violence and vengeance rule, in a galaxy where some are favored by fate, everyone develops a gift, a unique power meant to shape the future. While most benefit from their gifts, Akos and Cyra do not - their gifts make them vulnerable to others' control. Can they reclaim their gifts, their fates, their lives, and reset the balance of power in this world?

Doesn't this sound so good!? I was addicted to Veronica's Divergent series so I know I'm going to love this. RRP $26.99.  Available now at PaperPlus, The Warehouse, Whitcoulls, Mighty Ape and other good book stores.

Get your Sh*t Together: How to stop worrying about what you should do so you can finish what you need to do and start doing what you want to do. (A know F*cks Given Guide) by Sarah Knight: Ever find yourself stuck at the office-or even just glued to the couch-when you really want to get out (for once), get to the gym (at last), and get started on that "someday" project you're always putting off? It's time to get your sh*t together.

In The Life-Changing Magic of Not Giving a F*ck, "anti-guru" Sarah Knight introduced readers to the joys of mental decluttering. This book takes you one step further--organizing the f*cks you want and need to give, and cutting through the bullsh*t cycle of self-sabotage to get happy and stay that way. You'll discover:
  • The Power of Negative Thinking
  • Three simple tools for getting your sh*t together
  • How to spend less and save more
  • Ways to manage anxiety, avoid avoidance, and conquer your fear of failure
  • And tons of other awesome sh*t!

I am most excited to read this because I really, really need to get my sh*t together. Stay tuned.
RRP $34.99. Available now at PaperPlus, Whitcoulls and other good book stores.

xxx Hayley
