Makeup I'm Loving This Month

Hello beauties!
How's your weekend going? It's sunny yet crisp in Auckland. Autumn (Fall) is in full swing and I am so happy. I think I must be the only person in the world who doesn't like Summer.
I've been getting a lot of compliments about my makeup this month (thank you!) so I thought I'd share my everyday favourites with you today. There are a couple of old favourites as well as some new finds I am obsessed with.

Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H Foundation: I'd been wanting to try this foundation out for sooooo long, but the price tag always put me off (RRP $72). For Christmas I was treated to a Life Pharmacy voucher so of COURSE I had to purchase this. I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. I have a semi freak-out every time I put this on now because I don't want to ever be without it. The colour is the perfect match with my skin. (THIS NEVER HAPPENS). It's so easy to blend and leaves a velvety matte finish on the skin. Most importantly, it does not transfer. I have a really nasty habit of touching my face during the day and there is nothing worse than getting foundation everywhere. You also avoid those awkward moments when you leave foundation marks on someone's shoulder after hugging them. This lasts on the skin all day and doesn't move when blending other products on top. If you're after a new lightweight foundation I really recommend heading into your local Lancome stockist and pick up a sample. You won't regret it.

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush: I love Real Techniques brushes. I use them every single day and they last for ages if you look after them. (Make sure you clean them as much as possible with baby shampoo. I usually wash mine every Sunday morning). The Expert Face Brush is my holy grail foundation brush. It blends any foundation perfectly on the skin to give you that 'airbrushed' look. It's also great at blending in cream contour. Available at Farmers or iHerb in NZ.

MAC Lipstick in 'Diva': This is a recent purchase - I got it free after exchanging my x6 empty MAC products. I am so obsessed with the colour. It's an intense reddish-burgundy with a matte finish. It's the perfect Autumn colour and pairs beautifully with a gold eye (my everyday favourite).

Elizabeth and James Nirvana White: This is the most amazing perfume of all time. The scent is a combination of peony, chic Muguet, and tender musk. It's so beautiful and I feel like a goddess every time I wear it. Unfortunately, you can't purchase this in NZ so everytime I head over to Australia I always pick up a rollerball from Sephora. (FYI: Elizabeth and James is Mary-Kate and Ashley's brand).

Colourpop Hello Kitty Blush in Coin Purse: This is such a beautiful fuchsia pink that looks stunning on any skin tone. It's a matte finish so it stays on the skin for up to five hours. It's really easy to blend and looks especially great paired with 'Diva'. US $8.00.

Colourpop Super Shock Highlight in Lunch Money: This is one of my all-time favourite highlights. It's a warm gold highlight with a frosty finish. You can see this on the cheeks from miiiiiles away. It can be a bit tricky to blend - especially on the nose, so I tend to just put this on my cheekbones and under the brow bone. US $8.00.

What have you been loving this month?
xxx Hayley
