Skincare Routine

Hello, beauties!
I hope you're all having a good weekend. It's Easter Sunday and I've spent my whole weekend eating my weight in chocolate. It's my birthday next week and the older I get the more I get into skincare and making sure my skin is being fed properly. I've got a pretty good routine going at the moment and my skin is looking better than it has in years (take that, world!).
Keep on reading for a full breakdown of my favourite products.

Clinique Liquid Facial Soap: I am obsessed with Clinique. I love everything and anything they bring out. I've been using the Liquid Facial Soap for about three years and I fall in love with it again every single day. It's a very gentle cleanser that foams beautifully in your hands and is a great first step to remove makeup or as a full cleanser. It leaves the skin feeling clean and fresh. I use this every night before bed. I pump a small amount into my fingers and rub all over the skin. I usually use this to take my makeup off and then will go in again once makeup has been removed. Available at Farmers RRP $39.00.

Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip Cleanser: Let me just start with a disclaimer - this stuff is not cheap. It is, however, AMAZING. A little goes a long way, I've had this bottle for over a year now. (I use this about twice a week after I've first cleansed with the Clinique Facial Soap). The Ceramic Slip is a gentle foaming cleanser formulated with French green clay and Moroccan Rhassoul clay. It's a gel-based formula, enriched with vitamin C and black pepper that work together to remove pore-clogging excess oil and impurities. It tightens pores, helps stimulate the skin's natural collagen production and increase circulation. I struggle with skin texture and this stuff has made such a difference - my skin is so smooth which helps my foundation glide over the skin. This is a must-have if you struggle with your pores and texture. Available at Mecca RRP $71.00.

Ren Vita Mineral Omega 3 Serum Oil: I have experimented with a lot of serums but the Ren Vita Serum Oil is my favourite. It helps strengthen and re-energize the skin to improve moisture levels and helps reduce the signs of wrinkles and premature ageing. Since I started using this my skin feels smooth, visibly fuller and just looks healthy. I apply a small amount to my ring finger and apply to dry skin (after cleansing). It absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn't leave an oily residue. Win! Available at Mecca RRP $49.00.

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Gel: Suprise! Another Clinique product. I use the Clinique Moisturising Gel straight after I've applied my serum. I apply to my whole face (including neck and chest). I love this formula because it's lightweight, fast-absorbing and it was developed specifically for the needs of combination to oily skin. I feel like my skin immediately perks up after I've applied this. It's also a great base during the day when applied before foundation. Available at Farmers (or wherever Clinique is sold) for RRP $69.00

Sukin Moisture Restoring Night Cream: On the nights when I feel like my skin needs a little bit more love (usually in Winter), I'll apply my Sukin night cream straight after the Moisturising Gel. It combines Rosehip, Evening Primrose, Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E, Borage and Avocado Oils to replenish the skin's moisture barrier and improve skin texture. Available at Farmers for RRP $27.99.

I'd love to hear what products you're using. Let me know in the comments below.

Note - I have combination skin so what works best for me, might not work for you.

xxx Hayley
