Drugstore June Favourites

Hello beauties,
I hope you're all having a good weekend!
You don't have to spend a fortune on makeup, there are a lot of great options in the drugstore now, so today I'm breaking down my current drugstore favourites.

  • Loreal True Match Foundation: I've spoken about this so many times. With over 15 shades to choose from, Loreal has a great colour range available in the True Match Foundation. I use the shade Ivory Rose and it's the perfect shade for my pale skin (no orange tones!!!) True Match blends beautifully on the skin. It builds up really well from medium to full coverage. It lasts about five hours without needing any touch ups which is really good for a drugstore foundation. Just make sure to keep some blotting paper and powder with you and you'll be good to go.
  • LA Girl Strobe Lite Strobing Powder: If you're after an affordable highlighter, you have to try LA Girl's range of strobing powders. There are 12 shades to choose from so you can easily find your perfect match. The formula is semi-matte (a little powdery, but for the price, I can deal with it). They blend really well on the skin and don't enhance pores or skin texture. They don't last that long on the skin which is a bummer, but, again for the price, I can deal. If you have dry skin, it will last a lot longer.
  • NYX Baked Blush: I love the NYX blushes. They are so beautiful on the skin and the colour range is what dreams are made of. Chiffon is one of my all time favourite blush colours; it's a stunning peach/pink blush with gold shimmers that look so natural on the skin. I am obsessed. If you get the chance, I definitely recommend picking up one of the baked blushes.
  • Revlon Sculpt & Highlight Contour Kit (Light/Medium): Each kit comes with four shades; banana powder (for under the eyes), Highlight, bronzer and contour. I like all the shades in the kit, the bronzer isn't too orange and the contour shade is the perfect ashy tone, perfect for my light skin. The formula isn't amazing, it can be quite chalky (which means lots of fallout), but it is very blendable. The palette is great to travel with which I love, so I'll definitely be taking this with me on my trip later in the year. Available for just $30, it's a steal.
  • Topshop Glow Highlighter: I love this little cream highlight pot. It's so easy to just chuck in my handbag and top up my highlight throughout the day. It creates a beautiful subtle glow that looks great on any skin tone. I also like using this as an eyeshadow base to make my power eyeshadows pop even more.
  • Loreal Extraordinaire by Colour Riche Lip Colour: I love this range. The texture is like a lipstick, balm, and gloss all in one. It coats the lips beautifully and you can build the colour to get the desired look you're after. On its own, you get about two-to-three hours wear, but it feels really smooth even as it wears off. I like to wear this over my matte lipsticks to give my lips more definition. It's also really handy to keep in your purse for touchups on the go.
  • Morphe KathleenLights Eyeshadow Palette: I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. If I could create an eyeshadow palette, this would pretty much be it. There is a range of beautiful browns, bronze and gold shades to create any look for day or night. There's hints of colour with the green and burgundy shades that are great to add a little something extra to your makeup.  The Formula is amazing. Super creamy, easy to blend and lasts well on the lids (even without primer).
