L'Oreal Pure Clay Purifying Charcoal Mask

Hi Beauties,
How are you?
It's a long weekend here in New Zealand so I've spent my weekend catching up friends, drinking wine and doing face masks - is there anything better? I've been testing out L'Oreal's range of face masks for a couple of months now and I've been loving them, especially the Purifying Charcoal Mask. Keep on reading for my full review.

Charcoal masks are my favourite as it reduces dull skin and helps improve skin texture, but sometimes finding the right one can be expensive. L'Oreal's Pure Clay Purifying Charcoal Mask is RRP $24.99 so it's very affordable.

The L'Oreal mask uses a combination of three pure clays:
Kaolin: A pure clay concentrated with silicates known to absorb impurities and excess oil to help purify delicate skin.
Montmorillonite: A pure clay rich in minerals, this clay helps to purify and re-balance the skin, reducing imperfections.
Ghassoul: A pure clay able to absorb impurities and oils without causing irritation, leaving skin smooth, fresh and radiant.

How to use:
I use this at least twice a week because I have very textured skin and I find this helps keep my skin smooth (which helps makeup stay on for longer during the day).
Depending on my mood, I'll apply this before bed or before a night out.
Once I've cleansed my face, I apply an even layer all over my skin, taking care to avoid the eye and lip area. I really focus on my T-Zone as this is where I get oily the most. I usually leave on for about 15 minutes (I usually get distracted my Instagram and leave it on even longer), then remove with warm water. It's very easy!

I've noticed a big difference to my skin, I don't break out as often in my problem areas (dam you chin!) and my skin feels healthy and smooth. I can have quite sensitive skin and I haven't had any problems with this. I do recommend doing a patch test on your arm or hand beforehand just to make sure you don't have any irritations.

Available at Farmers and all other L'Oreal stockists.
