Tarte New Products Review

Hello, beauties!
Recently while browsing my mum's makeup collection (yes, my mum is seriously cool and has a slight Tarte Cosmetics addiction), I stumbled across this to-die-for Tarte eyeshadow palette. Seriously, LOOK HOW PRETTY IT IS. Of course, I had to test it out, alongside the most magical makeup brushes I have ever seen (that mum bought for me!). Keep on reading for my review.

The Tarte Make Believe in Yourself Eye & Cheek Palette: Featuring ten beautiful shades and one highlighter, the Make Believe in Yourself palette is a shimmer lover's dream. The formula is slightly chalky and I did find some of the shades quite sheer. For best results, use a flat eyeshadow brush and instead of sweeping across the eye, instead, pat onto the lid. I loved the colour names in the palette; Magic, Fairy and Trace are a few of my favourites. The highlighter is really intense and looks really nice also applied in the inner corner or as a brow highlight. It's a shimmering pearl white that would look great on a number of skin-tones. Available at tartecosmetics.com.

Tarte Magic Wands Brush Set: All of my makeup dreams have come true with this brush set. Featuring five different eye and face brushes, the Magic Wands brushes each has a twisted, gold handle with different coloured bristles. The almost look too magical to even use - almost.
The set includes;
Magenta contour brush; the dense flat bristles create a beautifully controlled contour or highlight. I really like using this to blend out my highlighter on my cheek bones as the dense shape keeps the product in one area without making my face look too much like a disco ball.
Pink powder brush: the website says you can use this for foundation, but I haven't tried it yet. Instead, I use this to apply powder under my eyes or to gently apply powder to my T-zone.
Green blending eyeshadow brush: this fluffy brush is great to blend out harsh lines in the crease. This is also another great highlighting brush.
Blue shading eyeshadow brush: the flat shading brush is great to pack on eyeshadow to the lid to create a pigmented, smooth and long-lasting look.
Purple liquid foundation brush: I am obsessed with this brush. It's the perfect liquid foundation brush to apply foundation and primer. It doesn't streak and the product blends beautifully into the skin.

What Tarte products have you tried?
