Winter Everyday Makeup Favourites

Hi beauties,
I hope you're all having a lovely weekend. I've had the most relaxing weekend - went and got an AMAZING massage at East Day Spa. If you're feeling stressed or run-down I really recommend taking some time out for yourself, it really does make all the difference and can take you from crazy to chill in a matter of seconds.
Today I'm sharing my go-to Winter everyday makeup favourites. These are the products I know will last ALL day and won't dry out my skin (heaters and cold air are the absolute worst for my skin and it dries out so fast, especially in the office with heaters constantly going on and off. I try and use products that will moisturise my skin and withstand the 'four seasons in a day'.

Persona Cosmetics Identity Palette: Launched by YouTuber, Sona Gaspariah, the Persona Cosmetic Identity palette is my favourite palette to pick up in the morning. The palette has 12 neutral shades, six matte shades and six shimmers. The colours are mainly warm-toned with lots of golds and bronze shades (my kryptonite). I like using 'Maverick' all over the lid, taking extra care the blend out the edges and then pat on 'Goal Digger' with a flat brush. This creates a beautiful sheen that lasts all day on the lids without creasing.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation: This is such a cult favourite foundation but you either love it, or you hate it. I love this foundation. it has just the right amount of thickness without feeling heavy on the skin. It blends beautifully and it lasts all day on the skin and prevents any shine - which is ideal for combination skin. I do always use a moisturiser on my skin before I apply this to make sure my skin is hydrated (so important during Winter). I apply this using a buffing brush or a wet beauty blender - just depends on my mood and if I can be bothered wetting my beauty blender! Double Wear comes in 36 colours and has three shade categories; W- Warm (Yellow Undertones), N-Neutral (Beige Undertones) and C-Cool (Pink Undertones), you're almost guaranteed to find the perfect shade for you. However, if you're pale like me, you might struggle to find a light enough shade. I currently use Ecru which is a little dark for me but it does give my skin a beautiful, healthy bronze-look which is ideal in Winter. Be aware that this does cause flashbacks in photos (it's not too bad during the day but be careful if you're using this at night), it's also super annoying that this doesn't come with a pump, however, you can purchase a MAC pump that fits perfectly. RRP $69.00 from Farmers and all Estee Lauder stockists.

Smashbox Studio Skin 24 Hour Waterproof Concealer (Fair): This baby blends so beautifully, doesn't crease, and lasts all day on the skin. Fair is quite light so it makes a good under eye concealer as it brightens the skin making you look healthy and awake. It also does a good job hiding any purple or dark undereye bags! (WIN)! Smashbox has a wide range of colours available and all their products are tested so they look the same in any light (no orange face outside). RRP $55.00, available at

Topshop Highlight in Horizon: When I'm not using the Smashbox Casey Holmes Highlighters, I reach for Topshop's Horizon, a beautiful mid-tone, warm golden bronze that looks beautiful on a range of different skin tones. The texture is very smooth, it does accentuate pores a little bit, but, the colour is so beautiful I can look past that. I apply this all over my face; inner corners of the eye, nose, cheekbones and cupids bow to create a beautiful but natural sheen. RRP $17.99.

MAC Blush in Life's a Picnic: This matte blush looks very intimidating with its hot pink colour but it blends on the skin so nice. I always make sure I use a very light hand when applying this to the apples of my cheeks so I don't look too crazy. It leaves the skin with a healthy flush - important during Winter when the cold weather can make your skin look dull.  RRP $48.00 Available at all MAC counters and some Farmers stores.

MAC Lipstick in Fanfare is a warm natural pink - it's the perfect everyday nude. It glides well on the lips and wears off beautifully (no dry lips here!). I always keep this in my purse as I find it's the perfect shade to touch up throughout the day when you're on the go.

What products have you been loving during Winter?
