Mecca Maxima Haul

Hello, beauties!
I hope you're all having a great weekend.
This week I went along to the Mecca Maxima opening on Queen street and it was just a bucket-list moment. By the time I got down to the store at 8 am there was already a pretty big line forming (around 50 people ahead of me when I got in line). We were treated to coffee and Too Faced tote bags. At 9 am the doors open and slowly we all made it inside. It was beautiful. If you've been following me for a while, you know that I'm a massive Mecca fan so I've been saving a little bit extra over the last couple of months in anticipation for this opening. If I wasn't going traveling I probably would have gone really crazy, but I managed to contain myself... just. keep on reading to check out my mini haul.

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation (Mont Blanc): This is my ultimate number one foundation so of course, I had to get a top up. The colour matches my skin perfectly and doesn’t accentuate my pores or redness. It glides on smoothly and lasts for about seven hours without touch-ups. I apply this using a beauty blender or a brush and it looks perfect both ways. RRP $74. (I know this is expensive, however, it lasts me around four-five months and I know I can rely on it throughout the day).

Mecca Max Life Proof Cream Concealer: This is part of the new Mecca Max makeup range and when I saw the colour range AND the price I had to pick this up. I bought the shade, Porcelain and it's the perfect colour for under the eyes and highlighting the face. I tried it for the first time yesterday and it's super smooth and blended really easily on the skin. RRP $24

Mecca Max Oh My Matte! Mattifying Primer: Another Mecca Max product, I was very intrigued when I read that this balances oil and shrinks pores. I was a bit shocked by the consistency of this when I went to use it on my skin. It's very thick and feels almost velvety when applied. For best results, I do recommend patting this into the skin. My foundation glided well on top and I do feel like it reduced shine throughout the day. RRP $22!

Mecca Max Pop Lipstick: I got this super cute sample with my purchase. OMG, I am so in love with the colour and the consistency is smooth and creamy. I got so many compliments during the day when I wore this. RRP $22.

Bumble and Bumble Hairdressers Primer: I just about died with I saw this travel-sized version of my favourite hair primer. Infused with six oils to help soften, detangle, de-frizz, protect against breakage and heat styling and UV damage, this bad boy is my ultimate holy grail for my hair and now I can take it away with me! RRP $17.

Too Faced Melted Lipstick: This was a freebie and I am already so obsessed. It's like a liquid lipstick but feels almost like a gloss on the lips. It lasted really well during the day (two Engligh breakfast teas with no touchups needed!). I also just really love the packaging. RRP $33.

Too Faced Totally Cute Eye Shadow Palette: For spending over $90 I got to pick an envelope with a prize inside and I got this bad boy for FREE! I was so stoked because I've been wanting to try the Too Faced eyeshadow range, but I already have so many palettes I couldn't justify it. Anyways, I've been so impressed with this. I am obsessed with colours - I have nothing else like it in my collection. The soft pink and green shades look beautiful under the lash line for a pop of colour. Plus, the palette came with stickers! Amazing. RRP $57.

What are your must-have Mecca Maxima products?
