What I'm Loving This Month (September)

Hello beauties!
Happy Sunday. Hope you're all having a great weekend.
Just over a week to go and then I'm on holiday! I can't wait. One whole month of exploring and resting my brain. Bring it on. Things will be a bit quiet on the blog while I'm away but make sure to follow me on Instagram so you can stay up to date with my travels.
Today I thought I'd share with you all the things I have been loving so far this month. Grab a cup of tea and keep on reading....

Simple Hydrating Cleansing Oil: I picked this up at my local Farmers a few months ago and I have been so obsessed with it ever since. I am a massive skincare snob and I usually have back luck with drugstore skincare brands, however, the Simple cleansing oil is now one of my favourite skincare products. It's made with pure grape-seed oil and enriched with vitamin A & E to leave your skin clean and hydrated. I use this every night; first as a makeup remover and then I'll do a double cleanse to make sure my skin is clean. I just put a small amount in my palm, rub my hands together and apply all over my face and then wash off with warm water. It leaves my skin feeling so nice and smooth. A+++ RRP $11.99. Available at Farmers.

Lush Sleepy Body Lotion: Made with oatmeal, calming lavender and cocoa butter, the Lush sleepy body lotion is incredible. I use it every single night and I notice a massive difference in my sleep when I forget to use it. I also apply it to my chest when I'm feeling a little anxious home alone and it instantly makes me calm. I love it. RRP $38.00. Available at Lush.

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish: Faintly Fabulous skinfinish is a mix of buttery yellow, peachy beige, muted medium orange, and light-medium warm pink. Together, they come together and create a muted, light-medium peachy-orange with warm, yellowy undertones and a frosted sheen. As you can probably tell, I only use the 'pinky' side as I'm obsessed with the colour combination on my skin. I use it as a highlight all over the face, eyebrow highlight, and eyeshadow. RRP US $32.

Revlon Super Length Mascara: I love Revlon mascaras. They always apply beautifully and take ages to dry out. The Super Length mascara has a lash extending fiber formula that makes the lashes look longer. The colour is super black so I find I only have to do one coat to get the buildup I'm looking for. RRP $28.50.

Mecca Max Pop Lipstick: I've talked about this a few times since I got it, but I LOVE IT. The colour is a stunning bright pink that goes well with a range of makeup looks (my favourite is paired with a brown smokey eye). The formula is super creamy and it wears off nicely during the day. I can't wait to check out more of the range. RRP $22.

Australis Metallix Eyeshadows: I have never loved an eyeshadow as much as I love the Australis range. I get sooooo many compliments whenever I wear them and I'm sure I have talked about this product SO many times. It blends so well, stays on the eyelid ALL DAY and pairs well with any makeup look. I wear this during the day and at night (with a deep bronze colour in the crease to smoke it out) - they are that versatile. My favourites are; Gold Gaga, Pearl Jammin and Guns and Rose petals. RRP $14.00. You can get one of every colour!

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer: Another old favourite of mine. I love this concealer. It's creamy, blends really well and it lasts on the skin for around six hours without any touch ups. I keep this in my handbag during the day and find it can transform your makeup in seconds. It does crease under the eyes, but it you apply a translucent powder, it helps set it in place. RRP $18.99

Midnight Sun by Trish Cook: "Seventeen-year-old Katie Price has a rare disease that makes exposure to even the smallest amount of sunlight deadly. Confined to her house during the day, her company is limited to her widowed father and her best (okay, only) friend. It isn't until after nightfall that Katie's world opens up, when she takes her guitar to the local train station and plays for the people coming and going.

Charlie Reed is a former all-star athlete at a crossroads in his life - and the boy Katie has secretly admired from afar for years. When he happens upon her playing guitar one night, fate intervenes and the two embark on a star-crossed romance.
As they challenge each other to chase their dreams and fall for each other under the summer night sky, Katie and Charlie form a bond strong enough to change them - and everyone around them - forever."

I have been LOVING this book. I can't say much because it's not out yet but stay tuned for the full review.

As always, please let me know when you have been loving in the comments below.

xxx Hayley
