Real Talk and UK Trip Highlights

This year has been a hard year. I've struggled with anxiety, my health, my overall mental wellbeing and even my identity. I've felt so lost at times but pushed myself to power through in order to not seem 'weak'. After some long soul searching I finally did something I had been talking about for years (I mean years, ask almost anyone).
I booked a trip to the UK.

It was everything I wanted it to be and more. It opened my eyes to a whole other world. It showed me that there was a large world out there and people were actually LIVING!
They weren't spending their days crippled with doubt and anxiety, spending all their time working or worrying about things out of their control. They were simply living. I've now come back with a fresh perspective and am determined to do better. I know some days will be tougher than others, but life is short - what's the point if we don't enjoy it!?
Now that I've got the 'Real Talk' out of the way, I thought I'd share some of my favourite pictures from my trip. I visited so many incredible places; London, Oxford, York, Stratford-upon-Avon, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast, Galway, Killarney, Cashel, Dublin, North Wales, Bath, Stonehenge, Paris, and Brighton. I met some incredible people and also reconnected with an old friend. If you're thinking about going somewhere - book it. You'll never enough time or money but as soon as you commit, you'll be surprised at how easy it all works out.

I had to get the usual tourist shot in the red phone booth. Not going to lie - it smelt SO bad. This was in Oxford and it was one of the most incredible places I had ever seen. It felt like I had been transported back in time.

I was two places at once!! Scotland was incredible. I felt so at home there. The people were so friendly, food was fantastic and it just felt so right. If you ever get the chance - please go!

Edinburgh was like a fairytale. I fell in love. I would move there tomorrow if I could.

Ireland was also a trip highlight. Just like Scotland, Ireland felt like home. This photo is in Galway which was such a cute place.

This is the violin from the Ed Sheeran music video - Galway Girl. As you can see, I am fangirling hard.

My trip wouldn't of be the same without some of the gorgeous new friends I made.

Outside Buckingham Palace. It was incredible.

A highlight - Meeting my friends Winnie The Pooh and Tiger.
