January Favourites

Hi beauties,
Hope you're all having a great weekend.
Sorry, you haven't heard from me in a little while... life has been super busy so I've been giving myself some time to relax and unwind during the weekend.
I've still been trying out new products and I've been dying to share some of my new favourites with you all. So, sit back, relax, and keep on reading.

Nars Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation: For those who have been following the blog for a while, you'll know I love Nars. I have been obsessed with the Sheer Glow Foundation and Radiant Creamy Concealer for YEARS. I was so excited with I heard they were coming out with a new foundation because I'd been a bit bored with my daily makeup routine, and Nars do really great shades for very pale skin. The Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation is definitely longwear. It lasted on my skin for about eight hours before I needed to powder my face. The packaging says it's 16-hours, but I really don't think that applies for everyone (unless you have super dry skin). It feels very lightweight on the skin and I get a really nice, even coverage with just one coat. It covers my redness, and I find I don't have to use much concealer when using it. I really like that it dries on the skin really quickly. I now have to wear glasses at work and it's SO frustrating when my foundation transfers onto my glasses and breaks up on my nose. It still does transfer a tiny bit, but not as much as my other foundations.
Overall, I have just really enjoyed wearing this and I love the packaging of this foundation. It feels so luxurious. It has definitely been a highlight in my morning makeup routine.

Tanya Burr Selfie Story Lash Mascara: I picked up this mascara while I was over in the UK last year. It was super cheap at around £7.99. I have to say, when I first tried this, I wasn't that impressed. However, after leaving it in my draw for a couple months, I now love it! I think the formula was too wet and has now had time to dry. The colour is super black so you only need one or two coats to get a nice fluttery look. RRP $11.13 NZD

Tanya Burr Selfie Story Sculpt Eyebrow Pencil: Another Tanya Burr product I picked up in the UK. I am a massive eyebrow snob. I am very picky about the products I use as I find I can never find the right colour match. I didn't expect to like this, but I picked it up because the packaging was so pretty, and it was cheap (£6.49). I have fallen in love with this. The colour is a perfect match, the formula is creamy and the tip of the pencil is shaped in a way that makes it super easy to fill in the front of the brow (which I really struggle with, since my eyebrows don't match!). I have used this every single day for the last month and I'm tempted to repurchase another one online just so I can make sure I always have a backup. RRP $9.07 NZD

Colourpop Liquid Lipsticks: I talked about this in my most recent Colourpop haul so I won't go on and on about this. I have used this orange-red satin lip (this comes in the Dream Team bundle) so much. Every time I wear it I get a million compliments and people can't believe how cheap it was. I love these liquid lipsticks as they stay on the lips all day and don't feel drying, which is so important when you're on the go all day.

Dawson Crying Mug: You all know I am obsessed with Dawson's Creek. I'm actually about to start re-watching the series from the beginning and I'm going to live blog every episode. Stay tuned.
Anyways, I found a website a few weeks ago called Redbubble, where artists can upload their designs and they get printed on a range of things (T-shirts, mugs, keyrings, etc.). I found there was a whole section of TV Show merch and I just about lost it. I of course, had to purchase a Clothes Over Bros (OTH) T-shirt, a Veronica Mars T-shirt and this amazing Dawson crying mug. I could have bought so many other things, but, I managed to control myself. Tip: If anyone wants any ideas on what to buy me for my birthday - visit this website. The mug was RRP $12.46.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Influence Book: I have been wanting this book for years and after browsing TradeMe a few weeks ago I came across someone selling it for $12!! I of course had to buy it and I have been reading it every night before bed. It's such a beautiful book and when I eventually move in to my own place my myself I'll be keeping this on my coffee table at all times.

xxx Hayley
